Yomiurigolf Westcourse
In 2006, the golf course was redesigned with a single green, which will still be viable a century from now. It is highly popular with golfers due to the excellent conditions year-round and majestic natural surroundings. The course is renowned for its sumptuous layout, completely partitioned by groves of trees. Also, golfers love the seven tee grounds to choose from, which can be enjoyed by advanced players, novices, seniors and female players. This club opened in October 1962 with a course designed by recognized master designer Osamu Ueda. In 2008 the Men’s Pro Tour “Way to the UK: Mizuno Open Yomiuri Classic” was held here. A national amateur competition is held annually. The distance to the cup and the course guide are standard features on the GPS-equipped carts and give players an extra edge.
