Kobe-Hyogo Urban Golf Frontier

 The Awaga Golf Club, opened in 1975, features a flat course with little height differential despite its hilly location. The fairway near the first shot’s likely landing point is generously wide, averaging 60m to 70m across, great for no-holds-barred shots. The single, continuous bent-grass greens have little undulation, but with a grade of approximately 10 feet, are designed for high-speed play that a wide variety of golfers can enjoy. Awaga Golf Club is located in Kamikawa-cho on the Tonomine Highlands, one of the most famous sites in western Japan for viewing beautiful Japanese pampas grass, and many movies have been shot there.
